Gregory A. Neethling Managing Director
Gregory has a background in Electrical Engineering and studied in Cape Town, South Africa as well as Copenhagen, Denmark.
Gregory started his career in Denmark as a design engineer at Innova Air Tech Instruments now known as Lumasense Technologies A/S. Gregory was recruited as Technology Manager/Product Line Manager for a Danish start up called Gassonic A/S in 2006. He became a partner in Gassonic A/S, which was sold to General Monitors in 2008.
At Gassonic, Gregory's tasks included the following: He was part of a small team who pioneered the Worlds first Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detector (UGLD). Gregory was tasked with the engineering of a new UGLD and spearheaded the R&D of the Gassonic Observer UGLD and later the Gassonic Surveyor. These became the pioneering UGLD products in the Global industrial safety market. The design included the patented "Acoustic Self Test", which is still used to this day. Gregory was key in setting up the production facility for the UGLD products, building of test rigs and conducting field testing of the prototypes.
As Technology/Product Manager, Gregory contributed to the Global marketing campaign of the Gassonic Observer, which became a Global success. Gregory developed the field service procedure for UGLD, which included ultrasonic mapping, detector allocation, leak simulation testing and maintenance.
